MEASURE

Know Your Body.

The gold standard in body composition, and a nurse to explain it.
Stop guessing from the scales.

MORE THAN A GUESS

Measure it,

THEN MOVE IT.

Progress you can't measure is just a feeling. Scales tell you a number that swings three kilos on water alone. A DEXA scan tells you what's actually changing — muscle, fat, bone, and critically where the fat is sitting, which matters more for your health than how much of it there is. Take a baseline, train for three to six months, rescan. That's the whole method, and it's the difference between training on data and training on hope.

THE GOLD STANDARD

DEXA SCAN.

Medical-Grade Body Composition · ~10 Minute Scan · Conducted With Our Nurse

ACCESS:

  • Ascended $98 — two scans a year included (one to set your baseline, one to measure the change)
  • All other tiers and non-members — $149 for scan and consult.

THE SCIENCE

Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry passes two X-ray beams of different energies through the body. Muscle, fat and bone each absorb them differently, and the difference between the two readings is what lets the scan separate the three and report each precisely — including where the fat is sitting. It's the clinical standard, and nothing you can do at home comes close to it.

THE BENEFITS

  • Precise measurement of muscle mass, fat mass and bone density
  • Visceral fat and metabolic health insight
  • Spots muscle imbalances and injury risk
  • Accurate progress tracking over time
  • Helps optimise performance and reach goals
  • Long-term health monitoring — detects risks early

HOW IT FEELS

You lie still for a few minutes, fully clothed. The scan itself is uneventful. The number is the part people react to — take it as a baseline rather than a verdict, and rescan in three to six months.

BEST FOR

  • A starting baseline
  • Tracking real progress
  • Bone density
  • Anyone tired of guessing from the scales

Before you book: a doctor referral may be needed. The scan is conducted with our nurse.

WHAT COMES BACK

YOUR RESULTS, EXPLAINED.

01

TOTAL BODY COMPOSITION

Lean mass, fat mass and bone mineral content, reported precisely rather than estimated.

02

REGIONAL BREAKDOWN

Left versus right, upper versus lower. Where the imbalances are and what they mean for injury risk.

03

VISCERAL FAT

The fat around your organs, which is the number that matters most for metabolic health and the one no set of scales can see.

04

a CONSULTATION

Every scan includes time with a medical professional who walks you through what the numbers actually mean and what to do about them.

WHY IT MATTERS

INFORMED PROGRESS.

Scales and mirrors only tell you so much. DEXA shows what's actually changing, so training decisions come from data rather than guesswork. Scan, train, rescan — and let the numbers settle the argument. Ascended members get two scans a year included; everyone else books a single scan any time.
